1. How do I become a Norwex Consultant?

It is as simple as emailing info@cleanwithnorwex.ca, filling in the Sales Contract and Starter Kit Agreement. Both are to be faxed into Norwex Head office at (877) 622-3620. It takes approximately one week to be processed as a Consultant.

2. Does my leader have to live in the same city?

Norwex takes pride in "thinking globally, acting locally". There is no such thing as geographical boundaries within Norwex. Most leaders have teams that are spread throughout the world. The quality of your leader is more important than their location.

3. How should I choose a Norwex leader?

You will want to find a leader that offers consistent support via a website, conference call meetings, personal email and phone contact. Ask questions such as, length of time as a leader, size of team, average income of team members etc. Accessibility of a leader is also important, for example, if the individual runs a full-time Norwex business.

4. How long has Norwex been in business?

Norwex originated in Norway in 1995 and the Canadian and US markets opened in 1999.

5. What is the commission structure for a Norwex Consultant?

Higher than any other industry standards, Norwex Consultants earn 35% commission for party sales; the direct sales commission is 40%. Unlike other home party businesses, the personal commission structure does not fluctuate. Norwex Consultants are not required to carry inventory.

6. Does Norwex offer sales incentives?

    a. In Canada, new consultants are eligible to earn a $200.00 shopping spree when they reach the goal of selling $2,500.00 in their first three months of becoming a consultant. Their leader will receive a $300.00 shopping spree for each qualified new Consultant.

    b. In the United States, new consultants earn their $200.00 starter kit by selling $2,000.00 in their first three months of selling Norwex.

    c. Head office runs monthly sales incentives in addition to an annual sales reward program.

    d. A Consultant can be their own Hostess as often as they like, which will provide the opportunity to earn free product.

    e. New Consultants are entitled to purchase one item at 50% off. The mop package tends to be one of the most popular 50% off items.

7. Can I become a part-time Norwex Consultant?

Most Consultants begin their business on a part-time basis. Although after experiencing success many have decided to leave their full-time jobs to pursue their Norwex business.

8. What is the initial cost to become a Norwex Consultant and what do I get in my start-up kit?

The Canadian kit is $39.95 and comes with all of the following products:

  • 2 Antibac Enviro Cloths
  • 1 Norwex Tote Bag
  • 1 Car Cloth
  • 1 Antibac Window Cloth
  • 1 Enviro Towel
  • 1 Spray Bottle
  • Enough paperwork to get you started for your first party

9. How do I become educated on the product line?

The beauty of being in business for yourself as a Norwex Consultant is that you have the ability to pick and choose which items you would like to promote. First hand experience with the products is a valuable means of education.

Your Norwex leader will also provide you with product knowledge information. Ideally a consultant website is available from your leader such as www.norwexnetwork.com. Most Consultant websites offer a team forum option that will provide the ability to communicate, ask questions and share helpful suggestions.

Head Office also offers a variety of tools to purchase on business development and product knowledge.

Ideally your leader will have their presentation available to view on DVD.

11. How do I receive my commission on my Norwex sales?

Client's cheques are to be made out to the Consultant, if the client pays in cash that amount is kept by the Consultant. Norwex also accepts VISA and MC, both of which can be processed through head office. As all orders are charged to the consultant's on file credit card, the amount you are paid is the difference of what you owe for the product you order and what the clients have paid for the product. If there are more credit charges from clients to apply against the party, Head Office will send you a cheque or direct deposit the amount into the account you have provided them.

12. What are the monthly sales requirements?

In order to remain active, a Sales Consultant must sell a minimum of $250.00 over a six-month period. Leaders must sell a minimum of $250.00 in one month to remain active.

13. How is my income unlimited with Norwex?

Building your own Norwex team can provide you with unlimited earning potential. A number of Norwex Leaders are receiving monthly team commissions of over $10,000.00

14. What is the Hostess program and who pays for the Hostess benefits?

Norwex provides a completely company funded hostess program. The hostess program is designed as a 4-Star program, with a variety of four different opportunities to earn free products. The average hostess earns all four programs providing her with approximately $250.00 in free product. See breakdown below:

All hostesses receive Star # 1 & 3

Star # 1
For each booking the hostess has from her party, the hostess will receive a blue window cloth

Star # 2
When a Hostess has a minimum of 5 buying guests she earns a free envirocloth. The higher the number of buying guests the more product she can earn. (other levels are 8, 10, 13 and 15 buying guests)

Star # 3
A shopping spree is earned for between 8% and 12% of sales at the party. The hostess can pick whatever products from the catalogue that she wants.

Star # 4
Head Office puts hostess packages together for different sales levels beginning at $325 (other levels are $500, $750 and $1,000)

15. Where can I sell Norwex?

The product line is sold primarily through the home party industry however there are a variety of other marketing options such as;

  • Craft Sales, Farmer's Markets etc.
  • Trade Shows
  • Website Sales
  • Hosting Customer Appreciation Events

NOTE: Norwex cannot be sold on eBay or other auction sites

Yes, although approval for any media or domain name that you have created is required from Norwex head office.
